Meet Our Founder:

Hubert McCloud

Born in St Petersburg, Florida, Mr. McCloud graduated from Gibbs Senior High School, Class of '82.  He joined the Florida National Guard and then transferred to the United States Army.  He served in Desert Storm and Provide Comfort.

After returning to St Petersburg, Mr. McCloud answered a job opening that was to direct him to his destiny.  Working as an Americorp*VISTA for a local non-profit organization who at that time was operating a Hoops After Dark basketball program, Hubert was asked to promote and energize the program so it can stay viable in the community.

Upon visiting the city rec center where the event was held, every Friday night, he would observe and saw how the operation ran.  There was no structure just a place to get off the streets, with about less then twenty neighborhood kids taking real advantage of the program.  Within one year after promoting the program thought the local media, drawing attention from the Mayor's office with letters along with generating local companies to donate balls and other items, event planning/organizing was born.

Since this conception, Mr. McCloud's agency has been blessed to continue to provide professional, one-on-one services with its clients.

He has three adoring children: Chennel Jenay 23, Edmond Jeremiah 9, Abigail Elizabeth 7 and two adorable grandchildren: Jaiya Ja'Nacia 2 and Yamon Xavier born Feb. '09.
